These terms apply when you use the Knowstead app for iPhone ("the app"). The app is provided by Ayano Nakagawa, Japan ("we"). Contact: support@knowstead.app.
Apple's license agreement
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms add to the Standard EULA. If they conflict, the Standard EULA applies.
Subscriptions
- A subscription unlocks the full guides of every lesson (audio guide, checklist and quiz) for as long as it is active. Lesson videos and the full guides of some lessons are free.
- The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If we offer a one-time purchase, it unlocks the same content without renewal, for as long as we offer the app.
The lessons are general information
The lessons teach general homesteading know-how, with sources listed in each lesson. They are not professional advice, and they cannot cover every place, climate or situation. Working with animals, tools, fire, food storage and building carries risks. Follow local laws and safety rules, and ask a qualified professional, such as a veterinarian or a food safety or building expert, when you are unsure. You use the information at your own risk.
Our content
The videos, animations, narration, texts and other content in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission.
Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove lessons and features. We may update these terms. If we do, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country you live in.
